About Us
We have ten acres of nice pasture land, devoted to the goats, horses and a couple donkeys. A chcken here and there kind of fills out the voids and every pc. of ground is used to the best of it's ability. We don't used anything on the ground that isn't safe for the animals and water run off.  We all kind of pitch in, with the 5 grands doing ordinary chores, my daughter helping me with the bigger ones, Son in law, helping with the heavy chores, and me taking  care of and makeing all decisions as to health, welfare and growth.

Now, I am not only widowed, but I have 7 grandchildren, 5 living on my property, and they need the milk.  As well as 2 of which are very happy visitors from San Antonio when they get the chance.

So it has made me Mama Mary and the goat lady every where I go. The goats are wormed and vaccinated, hooves trimmed when I can, and the children really come first. But by all means, the goats are what keep me from falling apart. They are also my health, cause without them; I might just hole up and never see the sky.
